Memorial Day weekend + Phi Kap reunion

Inaugural paddle

Brandon's first run of his kayak.  Berkley and Nancy both went and loved every minute.

Indian Guides

Brandon and Berk on their way to Indian Guides spring campout.  Although they didn't spend the night (because I was sick with the flu), they enjoyed the day fishing, shooting and playing.  Berkley caught a fish too!  Pictured below is Berkley's class pet stuffed animal, Milo, that stayed at our house for a week.

This spring we've prepared for a baby girl!  Excitement is high and we have about 2 months until she arrives.

Life on Shirley Road was full of animal life... turtles, ducks, duck eggs, and snakes were spotted (and sometimes collected) + the hundred of worms and insects we've collected.

We survived bronchitis (me), the flu (nan +me), the stomach bug (nan) and strep (nan).

Flowers were planted.  Mulch was laid.

I nested and found time to sort baby clothes and arrange a nursery.  Kate, Emily, Sarah, Chris and Lizzie hosted a shower for me + baby.  They made me feel very special.

There have been lots of playdates, weekly speech therapy, soccer lessons and school activities.

The pool opened.

Brandon got a new tandem kayak for his birthday and enjoyed time fishing on the James with Berkley.

My mama had surgery at St. Mary's and we spent part of a week visiting her in the hospital and loving on her.

It's been a good spring and here's to soaking up time together as a family of 4.
