Almost 4

Being three, nearly four is a tough job.  There is so much constant energy running through your body and sometimes it seems like it's impossible to keep from touching or grabbing someone else your sister.  You love her.  You do.  But you also kind of don't.  There is so much you want to do, but can't.  It's tough.  Being a mom of a three, nearly four year old boy is an adventure.  There are great days and days I wonder if we'll survive.  But there are also so many incredible moments or words spoken or feelings shared.... and I pray that I will remember them when my babies are bigger.  The photos help me recall the moments, the days without purpose, our adventures and their perfect smiles.  Be still my heart.

Leaving to go on a date together to the movies.
Berkley was so excited for a movie, a date day with Mommy and a real Sprite.

They were so excited and sweet.

Last day of tennis.  He sprayed his hair with "mommy's spray" to look extra special.

He wanted Sissy to wear a dress.

Super Dad

Happy father's day to our super dad on Shirley Road.  Brandon, you are the best reader of books, creator of rockets, and colorer of all cool pictures.  You work tirelessly for our family and devote all your spare time to your babies.  You sing to Berkley and Nan at night and you are the one who gets up in the middle of the night if there is a bad dream.  You are up early to play or cuddle on the couch.  And you don't complain that you never sleep.  Brandon, you amaze me.  You are the best daddy & we love you!

And happy father's day to my father.  He always believed in his girls and told us we could be anything we ever wanted.   Dad, you were there for every part of my life (prom dress shopping to math coaching to our outdoor adventures to basketball games to long walks together) and most importantly, you were there to love and care for my husband and witness the birth of my babies.  As an adult, you taught me about acceptance of myself and others and about meeting people wherever they are in their journey.  Dad, your enthusiasm for life and outgoing nature is contagious.  I love you to the moon and back.
