A weekend in pictures
A perfect weekend at home. We spent days in pjs. Finished celebrating birthdays. Baked and cooked. Decorated a gingerbread house. And played lots by the fire.

Two and Thirty One
Happy Birthday, Nan. Being your mama is a privilege. You brighten my days and fill my heart with love. You love your brother, Berkley, and follow his every lead. You ask for extra kisses and hugs from him before naps and bed each night. Your favorite thing is playing in "Berkley's rooms." To everyone, you seem completely laid back and carefree and yes, you are. But the people in this house know the 'real' Nan who is laid back and carefree, a lover of Henry and the outside, but who is also a complete pistol and who trows objects so hard they break or dent the wall. We know you are the one who starts the potty talk. And that saying "poopy diaper" makes you laugh so hard your eyes fill with tears. Your daddy and I love you - all of you. We always will. Happy Birthday, my baby girl. I love sharing a birthday with you and of course, with your great grandmother, Nancy. It is our special day.
Buon Cumpleano
(a note from Daddy)
"Happy Birthday to my girls. Stuck in the middle of two holidays, this day - December 2nd - means more to me than any other. Christa, I cannot believe I have known you more than half your life. It is hard to remember a time without you, and I always want it to be that way. Your kindness, caring and generosity inspire me. You are a natural and selfless mother and wife, never hesitating to put our needs before yours. Your beauty is endless and seems more radiant with each passing day. Nan, you are growing up too fast. It feels like yesterday we were welcoming you into the world. I want you to stay a baby forever, yet I am anxious to watch you grow. Your smile and laugh warm my heart. The boys in this family could not survive without our girls. Love always, B/Daddy."
Thanksgiving
I am so thankful for family, friends, new life, and health. Pictures from Thanksgiving with the extended Santos/Eliasson family at the Santos camp in Deerfield, Virginia.
