Berkley turned five yesterday. I remember in great detail the day he was born and the moments in between. My love for this child overflows.
Berkley is such a big boy and very curious, kind, sensitive, perceptive, silly and compassionate. He still wants to be cuddled, massaged, and sleeping in a birds nest of babies at night. Ever mindful of his proximity to Brandon and me - he goes outside to play, but doesn't stray far. Berkley is a great friend to many and my constant companion, filling my days with love, laughter, and his crazy antics. Love you to the moon and back.
His birthday week began at Busch Gardens and has been full of tiny celebrations. The highlight was a new rope swing. Two trees were removed and this baby was installed by an awesome RVA tree company. Oh, and this cake too. It was just the perfect amount of celebrating. Below are some of my pictures capturing the celebrations.
Breakfast cake the next day
Playdate with two friends

Daddy was away for work at the beginning of the week, but arrived home just in time to celebrate.
